Agenda:
(1) Reunion Concept
VOTES: Formal Dinner, KL (0); Pajama Party, PD (27); Party Dinner, KL (4)

EXPLANATION:
a. Main event: BBQ Dinner at a bungalow in PD on a Saturday night
b. After event:
i) Option 1: Sleepover at the bungalow for the night
ii) Option 2: Book your own room at same/other hotel
iii) Option 3: Go back home
c. Arrival can be as early as check-in time
d. Provides flexibility to try to accommodate both singles and families


(2) Budget per head
VOTES: RM80 (0); RM100 (9); RM150 (23)

EXPLANATION:
a. Inclusive of food & beverage, accommodation (bungalow only), entertainment, etc
b. Installment payment is accepted


(3) Date
VOTES: Start of the year (4); Mid-year (24); Year-end (1)

NOTE: 1st May 2009 is a Friday


(4) Contribution to the college
VOTES FOR CONTRIBUTION PER PERSON: RM50 (24); RM100 (9); RM150 (0)

EXPLANATION:
a. Differs from reunion budget (item No. 2)
b. Installment payment is accepted
c. Pops volunteered to be person in charge
d. Contribution of more than RM50 is welcomed

SUGGESTION:
a. Pops: collect money from batch members through the batch’s bank account, and decide on contribution based on total fund raised, therefore budget per head would not be an issue
b. Muna: ask students/school what they want
c. Dy: help the needy children (non-material)

IDEAS:
a. Alip: Career Day (give talks, hold booths etc)
b. Dy: Cash contribution
c. Nadiah: Library books
d. Alip: Scholarship fund
e. Pen drive
f. Pops: Video camera
g. Petet: Washing machine (note: maintenance issue)
h. Shosh: Ampaian
i. Ina: Air-conditioner
j. Nadiah: uniforms to the needy

NOTE: Ideas are still open for discussion and very much welcomed.

(6) Next Meeting
Date: Saturday, 2nd August 2008
Venue: Eejay’s House (potluck) in Bandar Utama
Time: 3.00pm

EXPLANATION:
a. Compulsory for committee members, others are welcomed
b. Every decision made during each meeting is final. Therefore, everyone is encouraged to attend the meetings to get your opinions heard and to take part in the decision-making process.


(7) Miscellaneous
a. Dy suggested creating a web log to keep everyone up to date with progress and milestones. Muna was unanimously appointed as the administrator for maintaining the web log. The site address will be announced through batch mail once it is set up and ready for viewing.

b. Track missing batch people. This would be each batch member’s responsibility, and inform any of the committee members.

Welcome to our very own blog (sorry for the delay in the posting of actual content ^^;; ) I'm gonna post the minutes of our meetings re: the 10-year reunion here but that's not all.
